Mortgage Rates Climb
The
rate for a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 4.23 percent this week, up from
last week’s 4.12 percent and marking the largest one-week gain since the week
ending May 1, Freddie Mac reported yesterday. At this time last year, the FRM
rate averaged 4.5 percent.
